Through the LBPSB’s Family and School Support and Treatment Team (FSSTT), Beurling Academy brings career mentors from the local community and high school boys together over lunch hour to chat about real-life careers. Students earn their pizza lunch by showing that they have taken notes from conversations with at least three mentors.

Dylan’s Stage
The staff at Cinéma Cartier understand the aspirations of students in the adapted learning “Challenges” program at Québec High School and have offered a meaningful and fulfilling stage (work placement) to Dylan Brown, who has impressed them with his work ethic and constant improvement. Making a “Caisse” for Entrepreneurship
There’s nothing like being entrusted with other people’s money to know real-world responsibility first hand. At Chateauguay Valley Regional High School, a dozen Cycle Two students are gaining exactly that experience. In partnership with Desjardins’ Caisse du Haut-St-Laurent, they are operating an in-school student “caisse.”
